The Steve Wolfe trained three year old Aliento has for long carried the tag as being one of the best three year olds in Albany. On Sunday, the strapping son of Hurricane Sky worked on the outside of Corolla and came away for a nice win. Previously he has won from back in the field and judging by his last start win, should be followed closely in the future. Walkonthewildside is a superbly bred son of Bletchley Park that has always promised plenty in his short career. The mail out of the Hoppmann stable was that he was flying on the track and he should have won his maiden last Sunday. This gelding has plenty of class and could cut a swathe through the local ranks in the next couple of months. |
