All of the KBRC awards are at very interesting stages with not a lot separating all categories, except for the Elders Real Estate and Westland Autos Strapper of the Year with Emily Metzke a clear leader on ten wins from Kevin Lightfoot on 5. Peter Fernie (13) and Susannah Hoppmann (11) both trained a winner each last Sunday to maintain their positions at the top of the Office National Trainer of the Year table, with Paul Smythe back on seven wins. Damian Lane (10) and Campbell McCallum (9) lead the way in both the Kleen West Distributors/Surekleen Products Jockey of the Year and the Scimitar Services Apprentice Jockey of the Year. The Hoppmann trained pair of Two Strong Hearts (15) and Simplyirresistible (14) are clear from Class To Go on 11 points. |
