The following terms & conditions outline the responsibility of the marquee host in Tentland. Final confirmation of your booking will be accepted upon receiving a signed copy of the Confirmation Form. This form is required by Friday 25th July, 2008. Marquee & Extra Furniture FinancialsAll marquees must be pre-paid. Due Date: Friday 8th August 2008. CateringIf you are self-catering, please be aware of the responsibility to your guests in the safe handling of food. Food may be delivered to the delivery gate throughout the day. Please arrange a collection time. Delivery persons will not be permitted on course without a Tentland pass. External catering companies will only be permitted to operate after seeking permission to cater from the office. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club reserves the right to refuse entry to external catering companies. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club has approved the following outside caterers for this year's Race Round; menu choice is attached and if you wish to discuss the menu further, please contact the catering company direct. Each of these professional caterers is highly recommended and is very experienced at event catering.
Due Date: Friday 8th August 2008 BeverageThe Kalgoorlie Boulder Race Course is a licensed premise therefore alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the Club. Failure to comply will result in the confiscation of liquor and refusal to future Tentland bookings. All items will be checked by security upon arrival to Tentland. Beverage pre order forms are enclosed. The KBRC has implemented strict responsible service of alcohol code. It does not mean you can't have a great day. It does mean if you drink too much you will be shut off and possibly asked to leave. In all fairness to our guests who are there to have a fun time, we ask you to be responsible and ensure you have ordered adequate non-alcoholic beverages for your guests. Pre ordered beverage will be delivered to your marquee and documentation will be released, outlining ordering procedures for throughout the day. Extra Ice will be available for purchase during the day. Last Beverage orders will be accepted no later than 4PM. If you wish to return any unopened cartons of product, these will be accepted prior to 6PM. Be aware that it is an offence, under the Liquor License Act, to on sell beverage on a cash basis within your marquee, and to remove beverage from the grounds at the conclusion of the event. Breach of these acts may result in prosecution and incur a heavy penalty. No alcoholic beverages to be consumed by a person under the age of 18 years. Full payment of all beverages must be made within 14 days of the event. Order Due Date: Friday 8th August 2008 Beverage Payment: Monday 29th September 2008 KBRC's Social Tentland Children's PolicyChildren between the ages of 5–18 years are unable to enter this restricted area. Children under 5 years accompanied by a parent/legal guardian will be permitted entry but must remain in the confines of the marquee. The tent holder is responsible to pass on this information to their guests and must adhere to this club policy. There will be no further correspondence entered into the matter. Furniture HireEach Marquee contains a nominated amount of furniture, which is outlined on the marquee price list. If you wish to order additional furniture or remove items of furniture, please complete the request form and return with payment. Requests without payment or made after the Due Date, will not be ordered. Due Date: Friday 8th August 2008 Set Up / Set DownTheming and decorating of your marquee is encouraged and only during the following hours:
No vehicle access will be permitted onto the grounds. All access is through the delivery gate and on presentation of Tentland entrance pass. Decorator items such as corporate signage and banners are permissible, if not considered offensive or conflicting with Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club's Sponsors. Balloons must be tied down at all times. Removal of personal property is requested at the end of the day. Arrange your own TV for racing or football viewing we will tune the TV into SKY Channel. DisclaimerThe Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club accepts no liability for any consequential loss whatsoever. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for any loss of, or damage to, any items left in marquees. It is highly recommended that you dismantle your marquee items at the end of the day or make arrangements for a security guard to stay with your property over night. ElectricityThe Marquees are fitted with two power points. Permission from the Kalgoorlie Boulder Racing Club must be sought for any electrical appliance utilised in your marquee. SecurityThe Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club will accept no responsibility for any items left on course. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club employ security personnel in Tentland to deter any unacceptable behaviour, however we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred on the day. Security guards will inspect items removed from the grounds to ensure there is no mistaken identity. Parking & Access to the GroundsA Public Car park is situated with close proximity to Tentland. All visitor access is through the main gate turnstiles. Taxis and a free Shuttle Bus Service operate one hour before the first scheduled race from Burt & Hannan Street and after the last race until required.
