Proud Custodians of Goldfields Racing

At the Heart of Goldfields Racing for Over a Century

For more than a century, the KBRC has been at the heart of racing in the Goldfields. We’re proud custodians of a tradition shaped by miners, trainers, jockeys, volunteers and locals who’ve kept this sport alive through booms, busts and generations of change.

From our historic turf track to the iconic Signpost Racing Museum, the KBRC is built on stories - the people, the horses, the characters and the legends that make racing in the outback unlike anywhere else.

Whether you’re a lifelong racegoer or rolling in for your first Round, you’ll feel the energy of the Goldfields the moment you walk through our gates.

Who We Are

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club is more than a racecourse - it’s a gathering place, a social hub and a proud community institution.

We bring locals and visitors together for big race days, relaxed meets, family-friendly events and the kind of atmosphere you can only find in the outback.

Every season, we work to deliver race days that honour our roots while giving racegoers the excitement, entertainment and hospitality they’ve come to expect.

The Goldfields

The annual Race Round is one of WA’s most iconic racing events - a celebration of fashion, fun, fierce competition and unmistakable Goldfield’s energy.

With packed grandstands, big crowds and unforgettable moments, it’s the social highlight of the year and a tradition the whole community looks forward to. Whether you’re dressing up for the big days or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the Round is something special.
